EQ Coaching

“You can’t be spiritually mature while remaining emotionally immature.”

– Peter Scazzero, Pastor of New Life Fellowship Church, NY

Emotional intelligence, sometimes referred to as EQ or EI, is the capacity to be aware of, control, and express one’s emotions, and to handle interpersonal relationships judiciously and empathetically.

EQ coaching is a way to improve your emotional/relational skills.  As a leader or an influencer, these abilities can either hold you back, or propel you forward.  Research shows that EQ is a dominating factor to success in life.  Moreover, as Christians we see in Christ the perfect model of emotional intelligence, and we are called to look like Him. Tall order! But the good news is that EQ is not fixed. It is something you are able to shape.

Because I am certified in emotional intelligence you’ll have access to the Bar-On EQ-i 2.0 assessment, which lists 15 core competencies associated with emotional intelligence.  The assessment is statistically valid and scientifically accurate. In my opinion it provides the best assessment results out there, which in turn, helps you shape a plan for effective results.

In a minimum of 2 sessions you will learn where you score in all competencies, choose the areas of growth that you desire, and then build a plan to develop the competencies.

This coaching is ideal for leaders who want to take their impact to the next level.  In both work and at home you can gain the self-mastery needed to lead and love others better than ever before!

When it comes to your emotions, you most likely know better (because the Bible tells you), but wouldn’t you like a little more know-how that can give you more self-control? As a Christian coach with a niche in emotional intelligence, you and I will work with God to help you be the Difference Maker you want to be!

In just a couple sessions you can reduce emotional clutter and improve your self-leadership.  Simply contact me for a DISCOVERY SESSION, which is a complimentary 30-minute call that introduces us to each other.  I can answer any questions you have about the assessment and emotional intelligence.  There is no obligation to continue with coaching, so this is a great way to casually explore the possibility!
